Preparing some Chamomile and shooting bees with my Samsung S630 in my backyard.

Bee on Echinacea Purpurea which is useful for colds and if you get some flu. I make Echinacea Tincture with my own plants grown in my backyard.

I took some photos the other day in my backyard where I keep bees and grow various fruits and vegetables. Insects, snails and all other little creatures seems to like what I did for them and are constantly visiting me.

HDR using Gimp with photos from Samsung S630

I was playing a little with enhancing photos in gimp and while searching on Internet I encounterd this nice tutorial. It is really easy to follow and if you want you can even download a script for HDR look for Gimp. Link is down in the comments. Scroll down and you will find it.

Here is a photo of Echinacea Purpurea that I quickly edited to gave them a little different look. You could say HDR also.

Spring is here, sky is blue and bees are flying

Spring is here. I can already see tons of insects around but mainly my bees are happy flying and some bumble bees here and there. I suspect bumble bees made a nest in the ground in my garden. I planted spinach, potatoes, tomatoes, melons, pumpkins, some herbs and of course tobacco. All in all my garden looks alive and healthy and I am looking forward gardening this year. Expect photos from my garden with my cheap budget camera on weekly basis.
